second day (13/05/2005)

since we all slept pretty late yesterday, we woke up pretty late too. duh. but i think i still had jet-lag thing going on, so i ended up waking up pretty early like i guess 10+. i surfed net and you know, just relaxing and watching tv shows. then went outside to just sight-seeing. the sun is hot but its very windy. i found that there's 7-11 one block away and blockbuster (movie-renting) on another block away. then there's a supermarket on the opposite and more. like i said, the houses are very surburbian looking. so went back home and both my sis and her husband still sleeping like pigs. i couldn't blame them. there is no windows at all in the bedroom. then anyway, they woke up around 1+ and apparently, my bro-in-law had an interview at 3 in hullington (another city in ny).


cut the story short again, we were at the place at about 3.10. her husband kept on saying shit, i'm going to be late during the journey. funny stuffs. while he went for interview, me and my sis went to the bookstore. i was already grinning like there's no tomorrow. and to top it all, there's starbucks in the bookstore. oh yay. so, bought passion ice tea and cheesecake and sat there and read books and magazines. then after like about an hour, her husband was done with the interview and so, we set off to lunch at flushing (chinatown). we had vietnam cuisine. have i said that the portion of the food there is super big. and then off to the travel agency for the big trip to disneyland. (sorry uds :p )


off to the roosevelt field department store. went to the apple's store and got myself a strap for my ipod when doing sport and also was intending to buy the speaker but decided not to until we checked whether there's a cheaper price on internet. then we just did window shopping until we reached The Ambercrombie shop. I felt like buying the whole store but damn, the price is HOT. For just a normal T-Shirt costs $39.90 that's like at least 60 bucks singapore dollar for a normal t-shirt. my sis said usually she'd wait till there's a sale. but i got myself a shorts and that's about it. then hung around there for another while then off to home but i felt a sleep on the way and when i woke up we were already in a big supermarket nearby our home. since my bro-in-law is working the next day so me and my sis is going to cook for ourselves. (we cant go out cause my sis is pretty sick and the nearest shopping mall in the city is like miles away). reached home then off to rent DVD and a PS-2 Game at the blockbuster.

third day (14/05/2005)

stayed at home for the whole day. watched america's next top model 4 from the beginning till the final 3. muahaha. k, my favourite isn't in the final 3 and there's this girl that look like a short-haired version of j.lo. my sis cooked spaghetti and some other stuffs.
