you can be anywhere when your life begins.
when the future opens up in front of you and you may not even realize it.
but it's already happening.

been a very busy week for me. and there's not much to update anyway. it's the routine of working and doing nothing that makes up most of my day these days. i find myself becoming bored with myself. i spend too much time sitting and moping around, while time keeps on ticking by. the more time that passes, the less i am able to do what i need to do.

i wonder what drives us to succeed sometimes. what little nagging voice within us pushes us to go beyond our normal means of comfort. besides the desire to have the house, the car, more money or whatever. i have spent my entire conscious life trying to achieve a state of contentment, only to question that ideology now. perhaps i am just going about it the wrong way, because i am not content.

but then again, aren't our greatest achievements usually driven by the need for our egos to prove something to ourselves? how can we achieve great things if we are content to sit and live our life(s) the way it is. what will drive us to push ourselves, if we are too busy being content with the current state of our life(s)?

whatever. christmas is coming. i'm usually very excited for christmas but i'm not too fond of it this year. anyway, if you receive any gift that was bought at mini toons, you damn well know that it cost less than 10 bucks. LOL. can't wait for my hong kong trip. i really need a damn break from work and go for a holiday. 7 days and counting!
