24 is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. i didn't even know that it is that good. i rented the dvd of the first season, the first 4 episodes are solid. it didn't hurt with elisa cuthbert in it. another tv show to add to the must-buy-dvd. it's pretty similar to alias, but alias has gone downhill after season 3. so hopefully, this one will stay solid until the end. well, the show did win an emmy this year afterall.

so anyway, i've been playing catchin up with olf friends for three days in a row. on thursday, met up with aleem, uds, ipah, peter and luyan. that was crazy fun. that was the break that i needed after all the stress i had with my job. we talked about the good old poly times. those were the moments that have been carved in our memory for good. sorry, nd, perhaps you could join us next time. muahaha. and thanks ipah for listening to my craps on the way home.

then on friday, met up with my indo friend who's going for his graduation in australia. he's transiting in singapore for few hours, so he came out to meet me. rich bastard. he's now working in indonesia as a business executive. sounds rad, eh? he even has his own name card and stuff. he seems to be enjoying what he does which is good. because you always want to do the job that you enjoy. meeting him is always fun. he always keeps me in check of my masculine side. lmao. ah well. i think he's coming over singapore to work next year. he wants to learn more about business from the experienced people because he wants to have his own business.

i needed to go back to work on saturday, finishing up some works. it's my second time to working on saturday. it was still fun though. less pressure. and also i could put on the music loudly since no one's going to care. after work, met up with secondary friend. we talked for a little bit, catching up.

today, i slept like a pig. sunday has always been my dvd day. so watched a little bit of friends, gilmore girls and 24. didn't do anything else either. was lying on the bed with some snacks on my hand and watched dvd for 4 hours straight. funness.

i have a plan to visit my sis this coming december in US. it's still a plan though. so it's not a definate. but i can't wait for december. if i'm not going to US, i still can go back indo. taking break from working life is neccessary for me.

i just finished reading "Catcher In The Rye" and i thought it was a good book. uds thought it was craps though. the book is about preserving our innocence while we straddle the line between a phony adulthood, and an innocent childhood. i think the entire book is so damn true. i wish i wasn't the one watching a child on a merry-go-round, and i wasn't the one wishing that all the 'fuck yous' written on the walls would be erased, just so i can try to keep our innocence for a little while longer, or as long as i can hold it up for. but sadly, we can't save ourselves from falling off the cliff.
